I am in favour of a return to our founding principles so that all aspects of club life being Nippers, Patrols and competition will reap the rewards.

The gold medallion is a very rewarding and challenging mix of physical capability, Beach patrol and surf awareness including emergency and advanced first aid. In my opinion, if you it is within your reach you should strive for it and hopefully Surf Life Saving starts to focus on it as a foundation for future marketing.
